till solens sista glöd.

Nog väntar jag på ljusets stund,
ett slut på folkens nöd,
ett oupplösligt fredsförbund
där hungrande får bröd.
Visst möter glädjens dag en gång
när jorden tvättats ren

A newly composed chorale in an old idiom; It draws heavily, (heavenly?) from the "folk-chorale" tradition of Dalarna, but holds its own boldly and auspiciously.

The song, about the coming and longing for light, starts like a slow chorale, but gets overwhelmed by joy and picks up and turns into a lively waltz.
